The Killers have premiered a new song called “My Own Soul’s Warning,” a track from the band’s upcoming album, Imploding the Mirage.

The recording is accompanied by artwork by Thomas Blackshear depicting the Crow Tribe of Indians. According to a press release, the Crow Tribe wrote The Killers a letter giving their blessing to use the painting.

“Artists living across the world inspired by our people and way of life, is a total honor and true testament of the knowledge our people share,” the letter read. “During this unprecedented time due to the COVID-19 pandemic as well as the injustice of police brutality protests around the world. Our people recognize the need to also help keep our spirits positive.”

The Killers’ “My Own Soul’s Warning” is the third track to be released from Imploding the Mirage, following the lead single “Caution” and the album cut “Fire in Bone.” You can download it now via digital outlets.

Imploding the Mirage is the follow-up to 2017’s Wonderful Wonderful. The record was supposed to drop this past May, but it’s been delayed due to COVID-19.
