CITY OF MOBILE 4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION- Fri 6pm-9:30pm, USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park.This free, family-friendly event offers delicious food from various food trucks, interactive games and activities, live music by Tip Tops – 6:30 and Fly By Radio – 7:45, and FIREWORKS – 9pm. Parking costs $10 for cars and $30 for RVs. CASH ONLY. The parking lot will not accept new cars after 8:15 p.m

FRIDAY:
GRAND BAY WATERMELON FESTIVAL – Thurs 3pm-7pm; Fri 10am-6pm, Odd Fellows Festival Park, Grand Bay. Thursday is preview day, with Arts & Crafts vendors, rides, food vendors, and entertainment (but no watermelon yet). Friday, admission is only $5 per vehicle. There will be Arts & Crafts vendors, rides, food vendors, entertainment, the Pretty Baby Contest, Car Show, games, and all the free sliced ice cold sweet Grand Bay watermelon you can eat. Plus a spectacular fireworks show at dusk.

FREEDOM RUN 5K- Sat 8am, Flora-Bama Lounge, Perdido Key. Break out your best red, white and blue attire because the Flora-Bama wants to make this run scream ‘MERICA!
