FRIDAY:

MOVIES IN THE PARK: DESPICABLE ME 4 – Fri 6pm-9pm, Crawford-Murphy Park, Mobile.Guests are invited to dress up as their favorite Minion or Despicable Me movie character, grab their blankets and lawn chairs, and prepare for a fun evening under the stars!

MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS- Fri/Sat 7:30pm; Sun 2:30pm (Mar 13th-23rd), Chickasaw Civic Theatre.This classic Agatha Christie tale features beloved detective Hercule Poirot on a murderous train trip across Europe. 

SATURDAY: 

BUBBLES & BRUNCH 0.5K – Sat 8:30am, Bluegill Restaurant, Battleship Parkway, Spanish Fort. Get ready for the most fun (and shortest) race of your life! This Brunch & Bubble Run is a family-friendly event where participants of all ages will dash, stroll, or dance their way through a bubbly 0.5K course—just half a kilometer! Along the way, racers will be showered in clouds of floating bubbles, making for a magical and laughter-filled experience. After your “gruelling” race, celebrate with a brunch party, with entertainment for the whole family. Proceeds support Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Central Gulf Coast.  

36th AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY CHILI COOK-OFF – Sat 11am-3pm, Canal Street (between Washington and Broad), Downtown Mobile. Teams are cooking up their best chili recipes and you get to try them all! The American Cancer Society’s Mobile Chili Cook-off is fun for the whole family, with live music, a Kids Corner, and LOTS of chili! All funds will support local cancer centers providing much-needed rides to treatment and lodging to their patients. 

ELBERTA SAUSAGE FESTIVAL- Sat 8am-5pm, Elberta Town Park, Elberta, AL.Elberta firefighters are cooking up 6000 pounds of German sausage this Saturday, the highlight of this festival. But there’s also over 200 arts & crafts booths, carnival rides, and lots of music– polka, country, contemporary and German music. Proceeds benefit the Elberta Fire Department and the Town of Elberta. 

TOUCH A TRUCK – Sat 10am-2pm, The Grounds, West Mobile.TOUCH A TRUCK is a family friendly event that offers children (& adults too) a hands-on opportunity to explore a variety of trucks & meet the people who build, protect & serve our community. Children will be allowed to climb aboard and ask questions about their favorite trucks in a safe environment. This fundraiser will benefit both Rapahope & Adoption Rocks.

MUDBUGS & MARGARITAS– Sat 10am-6pm, Foley, Heritage Park. A great day of crawfish, live music, a huge kids entertainment and activity area, plus arts & crafts vendors too. 12 and under get in free.  

RANG-HOLI – Sat 10am-1pm, Mobile Museum of Art, Langan Park.Embrace the vibrant spirit of Holi, a festival that transcends ethnicities and borders, bringing people together through joy, love, and peace. Free admission to the museum all day.  

MOBILE BALLET presents THE PRINCESS & THE FROGSat 7pm, Sun 2pm, Mobile Saenger Theatre. Katia Garza’s unique adaptation of this beloved story is created just for Mobile, with a nod to Mobile’s Mardi Gras.

FRIENDS OF THE MOBILE PUBLIC LIBRARY PUBLIC BOOK SALE- Sat 9am-6pm; Sun 1-6pm The Grounds.Wemo. Public sale of gently used books of all kinds including over 24 feet of Children’s books alone!

SUNDAY:

SAINTS RUN 5K and 1 MILE FUN RUN- Sun 1pm, St Paul’s Episcopal School, Dogwood Lane, Mobile.All proceeds from the Saints Run support the Chad Saucier Memorial Scholarship Fund, to promote a drug and alcohol-free healthy lifestyle. The fund was established in memory of Chad Saucier who tragically lost his life in a hazing incident as a freshman in college
