FRIDAY: 

23rd ANNUAL LAGNIAPPE “NAPPIE AWARDS” – Fri 5:30pm-?!?!. Saenger Theater. Hors D’Oeuvres and cocktails start ar 5:30, with the awards ceremony beginning at 7pm sharp.

KISS ARMY: A KISS TRIBUTE- Fri 7:30pm, OWA Theater, OWA Parks & Resort, Foley.Experience the explosive sights and sounds of one of rock’s most iconic bands as they play through all your favorites—from “Detroit Rock City” to “Shout It Out Loud” and “Rock and Roll All Nite.”

COLOR OUR WORLD ART COMPETITION– Fri 10am-5pm. Semmes Regional Public Library. Grab your paintbrushes; it’s time to color our world! Use your imagination and creativity to create a unique art piece and add a little color to our world. Submit your entries for the “Color Our World Art Competition” from July 1st to 22nd. This is ideal for ages 6-18. Winners will be announced on July 24th.

THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES- Fri & Sat 7:30-10pm. Theater 98. Fairhope.The Marvelous Wonderettes perform classic 1950’s and 60’s pop songs in between personal drama, petty infighting, and reconciliation in this feel-good musical comedy that will make it hard not to sing along!

SWEENY TODD- Fri 7-10pm. Bay Area Performing Arts, Daphne.  Attend the dark, witty and Tony Award-winning tale of love, murder and revenge set against the backdrop of 19th century London.

SATURDAY: 

ALABAMA DEEP SEA FISHING RODEO- Fri, 5am Cannon Blast start; weigh station 10am-5pm; Sat, weigh station 10am-7pm; Sun, weigh station 10am-5pm, Cannon Blast Close at 5pm, Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo Site, Dauphin Island

This is the 92nd Annual Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo, a project of the Mobile Jaycees. The rodeo has been proclaimed the largest fishing tournament in the world by Guinness World Records.  There will be live music each day too: 

Friday: The Molly Ringwalds 7-9pm

Saturday: Hamilton Gardner 5-7pm

Sunday: The Big Reveal Starting at 3pm

DAUPHIN STREET VAULT- Sat 8am-9pm, Dauphin Street (between Jackson and Joachim), Downtown Mobile. Now in its 14th year, athletes of all ages and skill levels, including Olympians and professionals, will compete in this annual invitational event. It’s an opportunity for athletes to compete in a fun environment while giving spectators a close-up view. 

FAIRHOPE SUMMER SHOPPERS MARKET- Sat 10am-4pm. Fairhope Civic Center. Get ready to shop local and support great causes this summer! First 50 shoppers receive a FREE Swag Bag! Pet Food Drive for The Haven – Bring cat or dog food or supplies to support animals in need  $2 Admission – All proceeds go to Hunter’s Heart FoundationCome enjoy a fun-filled day of shopping, food, and community spirit!

PERUVIAN FEST MOBILE – Sun 1pm, James Seals Jr Community Center, Texas St. There will be music, dancing, and Peruvian food too.

Taking place during NRPA’s Park and Recreation Month, and utilizing the theme “Build Together, Play Together”, our Adult Field Day is packed with exciting team-building challenges designed to test your communication, strategy, and teamwork skills. Take on the classic Tug-of-War, navigate a thrilling Obstacle Course, and show off your coordination in our hilarious Group Relay challenges and water balloon games. Plus, enjoy amazing incentives and giveaways, including trophies, gift cards, food, drinks, and swag bags!
