Following a tense moment at her Miami show, Billie Eilish has shown her gratitude to a fan who stood up for her when she was grabbed by a concertgoer during the October 9 performance.
The incident unfolded as Billie was walking through the crowd at Miami’s Kaseya Center, while high-fiving fans behind a barricade. Suddenly, someone reached out and grabbed her, trying to pull her closer. Billie stumbled, hitting her back against the barricade, before quickly regaining her composure and moving on.
Footage taken right after the incident revealed that a woman wearing a red bandana fearlessly confronted the person who grabbed Billie — sparking praise from Billie’s brother, Finneas, who posted on Instagram Story, “Red bandana girl from last night’s show rules.”
The fan, later identified by ticket reseller StubHub as Aniyah, was rewarded for her defense with tickets to another Billie Eilish show. Billie would then surprise Aniyah with official merch, including a cozy Hit Me Hard and Soft sweatshirt, as captured in an Instagram Story shared by a fan account. Aniyah thanked Billie with an enthusiastic message: “Thank you so much for the gifts billie!!! @billieeilish!”
Following this viral moment, Aniyah’s TikTok followers have skyrocketed by around 500,000 overnight.
