77th Annual LABOR DAY PARADE- Mon 10am, Downtown Mobile.Labor Day is a time to recognize the enduring contributions of working people in our communities. Again this year, the Southwest Alabama Labor Council will be highlighting locally-made products, by throwing paper towels and toilet paper from Kimberly-Clark. And there’s a new route this year: starting on Lawrence Street, continuing to Government, then Royal, St. Francis, Conception, looping back onto Government, turning onto Claiborne, and concluding on Canal Street.
