FRIDAY: 

LODA ARTWALK CELEBRATES WORLD WATERCOLOR MONTH- Fri 6pm-9pm, Lower Dauphin Arts District, Downtown Mobile.LODA ArtWalk is a free monthly event that showcases our visual, performing, and culinary arts community. Explore local vendors, live music, and captivating art. Plus, visit the Kids’ Zone to create a watercolor masterpiece! 

8th Annual MOB MUSIC FEST- Fri/Sat 5pm-10pm, Sun 3pm-8pm, Cathedral Square and The Temple, Downtown Mobile.This exciting, family-friendly event remains free and open to the public, showcasing the best in local, regional, and national talent across two premier stages. A diverse mix of Hip Hop, Gospel, Jazz, R&B, Funk, Indie, Soul, Blues, Rock, and Southern Soul, reflecting Mobile’s rich cultural roots and musical influence. Headliners include Dennis “Finger Roll” Nelson, Meridith Hicks, 2$ Fabo, Sonia Daniels and Nikeland & Ebony Nichols.

ROLL MOBILE SKATE NIGHT- Fri 6pm-9pm, Bienville Square, Downtown Mobile.During LODA ArtWalk, the City of Mobile is turning the block along Bienville Square into a pop-up skating rink! Please bring your own skates and helmet. Skateboards, scooters, hoverboards, and bicycles are NOT allowed.

BLUE MARLIN NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP- Fri/Sat, weigh-ins 5pm-8pm, Marlin Circle, The Wharf, Orange Beach.The Greatest Show in Sportfishing is unlike any other fishing tournament with huge fish and even bigger purses. It is the final leg of the Gulf Coast Triple Crown Series, so don’t miss the chance to witness this year’s tournament fleet and prized catches. Come early to try your hand at the St. Jude Fighting Chair Challenge — a real sportfishing fighting chair that is similar to “tug-o-war” against a friend while raising money for the kids at St. Jude.

SATURDAY: 

MOBILE MUSEUM OF ART: BACK TO SCHOOL FAMILY DAY- Sat 11am-2pm, Mobile Museum of Art, Langan Park.Kick off the school year with creativity! The first 100 visitors get FREE backpacks with school supplies. Enjoy a scavenger hunt, bubble and ice painting, making a collage, and more! Free Admission. (Pre-register to blow a glass ornament with Muffinjaw Design – $55). 

BLUE ANGELS PENSACOLA BEACH AIRSHOW- Gulfside Pavilion at Casino Beach, Pensacola Beach. 

Saturday, July 12 – Official Pensacola Beach Air Show. Same schedule as Friday’s rehearsal.

The 67th Annual Roy Martin Young Anglers Tournament-  Sat July 12th, Rodeo site Dauphin Island.  Bring the whole family out for the kids to weigh in some record fish and then check out the inflatables and foam parties throughout the day, provided by Blue Rents and Foam the Coast. Foam parties at 12pm, 3pm, & 4:30pm

LEGACY FOOTBALL CLINIC FEATURING SHEMAR JAMES- Sat 8am-12pm. Faith Academy. The ultimate pre fall football camp for boys ages 6-16.

COASTAL FASHION WEEK MOBILE SWIM- Sat 7-8:30pm.Community Foundation of South Alabama. 212 Saint Joseph Street. Check out this years and next years Summer swim fashions on the runway. . 

DUNKS FOR WISHES- Sat 5-9pm. Bass Pro Drive, Daphne. Dunk your favorite local celebs and politicos for a good cause and have some fun, with water slides, a foam party, live music, and DOuble D’s Burgers on hand too.
