S’MORES ON THE SHORE- Thurs 6pm, Gulf Place Town Green, Gulf Shores.This family-friendly event will feature free items and activities, including s’mores packets, a live DJ, a balloon artist, and face painting. The Lions Club will be selling hot dogs, chips, and drinks. Families are encouraged to bring their blankets, chairs, and friends and relax on the beautiful white sand of the Gulf Shores Public Beach.

HISTORY MUSEUM OF MOBILE BEHIND THE SCENES TOUR, SPORTS. Thur 10:30am & 5:30pm. Join the curators at the History Museum of Mobile for a behind-the-scenes look at their collection! See inside the vault and learn how curators care for more than 117,000 objects.The theme for this month’s tour is Sports. Their curators will focus on uniforms, equipment, photos, memorabilia, and more from Mobiles sports history.

SWING FORE! HABITAT- Fri 1pm-4pm, Top Golf, Mobile. Habitat for Humanity of Southwest Alabama is teaming up with Topgolf Mobile for Swing FORE! Habitat, a tournament to raise funds for affordable housing in the Mobile area. Six-person teams can enjoy an afternoon of friendly golf competition, food, drinks and networking.

The Mobile Improv Comedy Carnival is holding its first fundraiser show with an historic event: for the first time ever, three Mobile improv troupes are coming together for a single show!Besides a night of unscripted hilarity, we’ll also be holding a live raffle, where we’ll be raffling off several great prizes, including our Grand Prize: a 2-night stay and brunch/dinner for 2 at the Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort in Biloxi, a package which retails for $500!

South Alabama Inflatables will be set up at Medal of Honor Park for an evening of fun, music by DJ Herb Love, food trucks, and good vibes. This event is for adults only– kids will not be allowed at this event, and you will need to show your ID at the entrance.

UGLISTICK with TRIPLE 40: BENEFIT FOR VERN WASHINGTON- Sat 8pm, Soul Kitchen, Downtown Mobile. Uglistick reunites for a benefit for Vern Washington (Soul Kitchen Head of Box Office) during his recovery. Features a silent auction with some killer items up for grabs.
