The Snowball Drop is a man-made blizzard featuring 8,000 ping pong balls dropped from above. Winning snowballs will have a number that correlates with a prize.INFO HERE

30th Annual MAGIC CHRISTMAS IN LIGHTS – Nightly 5pm-9pm, Fri Nov 21 – Tues Jan 6 (Closed Nov. 26, Nov. 27, Dec. 25, and Jan. 1), Bellingrath Gardens & Home, Theodore. The season is beginning earlier than ever and continuing nightly through January 6th, to give guests even more time to experience the wonder of the season. The show features more than 3 million lights, 1,100 set pieces, and just under 20 themed scenes, transforming the 65-acre Gardens into a glowing winter wonderland.  INFO HERE

DECEMBER LIVING HISTORY CREW DRILL – Sat 8am, USS ALABAMA Battleship Memorial Park, Mobile. Come see history come to life with our WWII reenactors during their December drill. Interact with historical WWII reenactors aboard the USS ALABAMA and USS DRUM. At 1:00 p.m. the “Call to Battle Stations” is sounded and enemy aircraft will fly over attacking the ship, and the crewmen will fire back to defend her with their guns blazing!

43rd Annual CHRISTMAS FEST – (RESCHEDULED FOR FRI DEC 12 5PM-7:30PM, WITH PARADE SAT DEC 13 AT 4:30) Blackburn Park, Bay Minette.

Join the Dauphin Island Chamber of Commerce for an evening of festive cheer, beautiful lights, and community celebration. Warm up with free cocoa and cookies while you’re enjoying the decorated trees and sparkling displays! Santa arrives at 5pm and the lights go on shortly after, once it’s dark. A CHARLIE BROWN JAZZ CHRISTMAS- Sat 7pm, Mobile Saenger Theatre. The 16th annual Charlie Brown Jazz Christmas concert returns with The Joe Cool Trio performing Vince Guaraldi’s iconic score from A Charlie Brown Christmas. A portion of proceeds from the Mobile performance will benefit the Child Advocacy Center of Mobile. INFO HERE

SUNDAY:

CHRISTMAS on the HILL- Sun 1-5pm. Springhill. Come out for a great time as the Village of Spring Hill’s finest boutiques will once again open their doors with special store hours, holiday refreshments, sleigh rides, photos with Santa, holiday music and a variety of children’s activities as well as sales and special merchandise promotions. In addition, the event will feature an “Art Walk” where dozens of artist will display their artwork in front of Spring Hill merchants’ storefronts, plus our own Matt McCoy will be playing our your favorite Christmas jams throughout the square.
