As featured in The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, The Smashing Pumpkins have released “Black Stars” ahead of the upcoming movie, and added that they are “grateful to be casting our spell” on The Hunger Games movie.
This track also marks the reunion of the band with longtime producer Butch Vig. He was the producer of their two early albums 1991’s Gish and 1993’s Siamese Dream. Many were excited for this collaboration, especially after Billy Corgan (singer) let it slip they were working with Vig on a livestream.
Currently on Tour, The Smashing Pumpkins have a lot going on.
