The luncheon will recognize and honor the 2023 Patriot of the Year, and the 2023 Mobile Bay Area Veteran of the Year.

The Parade of Flags:

4th-grade students from Mobile & Baldwin County schools will present the Parade of Flags. Music, celebration, and keynote speech by DYW of America.

Annual Veterans Day Concert

The Mobile Symphonic Pops Orchestra performs patriotic music & a salute to veterans.

LODA ARTWALK CELEBRATES MARTIAL ARTS- Fri 6pm-9pm, Lower Dauphin Arts District, Downtown Mobile. Explore local vendors showcasing unique arts, crafts and other goods. Plus, there will be fantastic martial arts demonstrations in Cathedral Sqaure! At the Kids’ Zone, children can enjoy martial arts crafts, photo opportunities, and other exciting activities.

DEATH TAKES A HOLIDAY- Thurs/Fri/Sat 7:30pm, Sun 2:30pm, (Oct 31- Nov 10), Chickasaw Civic Theatre. It turns out Death is just plain tired of being feared and despised, so he takes a vacation from his work.

SATURDAY:

LION TROT 5K and FUN RUN – Sat 7AM-11AM. Amelia Park 716 Mae Street, Saraland, AL, United States.Certified 5K course winds through Saraland neighborhoods, starting and ending near Amelia Park. The fun run follows a straightforward out-and-back route. Courses are mostly flat with mild inclines and water stations along the way.

MOBILE WALK TO DEFEAT ALS- Sat 8 AM-noon. University of South Alabama: Intramural Field 6450 John Counts Dr, Mobile, Alabama, United States. The USA Health Kelly Butler ALS Center is inviting the community to join in the 2024 Mobile Walk to Defeat ALS on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024, at the University of South Alabama Intramural Field. The event will feature water, snacks, face painting and guest speakers.

MOBILE MUSEUM OF ART’S GROOVY BIRTHDAY PARTY- Sat 11am-3pm, Langan Municipal Park, Mobile.Celebrate Mobile Museum of Art’s 60th Anniversary at their Groovy Birthday Party! This family-friendly day will be fun for all ages and include a petting zoo, live music, food trucks, art classes, a time capsule burial, and free admission to the Museum all day long. Our own Gene Murrell will be broadcasting live for the event from 11AM-2PM too.

BEETHOVEN AND BLUE JEANS- Sat 7:30pm, Sun 2:30pm, Mobile Saenger Theatre.This year’s casual concert offers triple the fun! Beethoven’s Triple Concerto features violinist Benjamin Baker, cellist James Baik and pianist Chaeyoung Park. Also Haydn’s “Surprise” Symphony and Montgomery’s Starburst

ST. LOUIS STREET BLOCK PARTY- Sat 12-5PM. Braided River. Come out this Saturday for one of the biggest block parties around, featuring Axe Throwing, Local Artists, Pet Adoption, Football on a big screen, raffles for prizes and more!

BURGERS, BRATS AND BEER FESTIVAL- Sat 10am-6pm, Heritage Park, Foley.Great live music all day, Food, snack and art & craft vendors, exotic animals & petting zoo, Kids zone. Featuring Alabama Sunset – The #1 tribute band to Alabama (10:30am).

Gator Bar Grand Opening- Fri 8 PM Ralph & Kacoo’s on the Causeway. Come party with the crew at Ralph & Kacoos as they celebrate the grand opening of the Gator Bar downstairs! They’ll be karaoke, Hookah’s, and great food!

SUNDAY:
